After leaving Slovenia we made a stop in the Capital of Hungary, Budapest. We found scooters to ride around the city, we found lots of good food including kebabs and traditional Hungarian platters, playgrounds, a free walking tour and best of all the thermal bath. The thermal bath was hot and you could find a lot of fountains to sit under. There were pools indoors (after 30 minutes we got kicked out because the water was too hot for kids) and outdoors. We went in the outdoor pools first. As we walked into the pool you step into the feet cleaning water which was cold. I thought the pool was going to be cold too but then we stepped into the bath and it was very hot. The water we swam in comes from hot springs under Budapest. People have been using these baths since 1913. It is the largest bath in Europe. We had so much fun that we hope to find another bath along our journey.

I am enjoying your beautiful photos and commentary . Anne shared your sight with me and every morning I begin my day with seeing your smiling faces and having an adventure myself. Stay healthy and safe . Aunt Anne friend Johanna

What an awesome hot spring pool! I love that this is right in the city. I always think of springs as off in nature but how fun to be by such a beautiful building. Can’t wait for the next episode of rogue rossier on the run. Love you all so! Xoxo
